National Grid – Upstate Economic Development Online Program Application
Whether your goal is to focus your community's economic development and business recruitment efforts, develop strategies and materials for marketing your community or to redevelop buildings and brownfields, National Grid’s Economic Development Grant Program may be able to assist.
Before beginning the application process, please review the Program Descriptions to determine if your organization and project are eligible for one of our grant programs. If you have any questions about eligibility, please do not hesitate to contact your Regional Economic Development Professional.
Complete the Five-Step Online application (you must be registered to complete the online application. If you are not registered, click on this link NEW ONLINE APPLICANT REGISTRATION. If you have already registered, proceed to REGISTERED APPLICANTS.
Once you complete your application, print two (2) copies of the signature page, one for your files and the other to be uploaded as an attachment; and,
Upload the required attachments listed at the end of the application.

National Grid Economic Development Programs are designed to provide incremental economic development program assistance to Upstate New York regions and communities. Grants from these programs are not intended to offset operating costs of economic development agencies.
